  	SYLVIA AHONEN Duluth News-Tribune (MN) - Wednesday, August 27, 2003 Sylvia Ahonen, 83, Brimson, died Monday, August 25, 2003, in her home. She was born May 8, 1920, to Nestor and Anna (Johnson) Ahonen in Brimson. She attended school in Brimson, then during World War II served in the US Navy Waves. She was employed as a secretary and bookkeeper in Duluth and Minneapolis until her retirement in 1985, when she returned home to Brimson. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant sister, Sere; a brother, George; a sister, Celia; and her twin sister, Saga. Sylvia is survived by a sister, Svca Uppgard of Two Harbors; and many nieces and nephews. VISITATION: 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service on Thursday, August 28, 2003, in Cavallin Funeral Home in Two Harbors. Burial will be at Brimson Cemetery.
