ARLENE HOPE McKINNEY
PORTLAND, Ore.— Arlene Hope McKinney, 66, died Sunday evening, Dec. 19, 2004 in Oregon.
She resided in Portland, Ore., with her daughter for several years following the onset of Alzheimer's disease.
She was born on Dec. 30, 1937. She lived many years in Rock Springs. Her interests included singing and dancing, writing poetry and spending time in the desert.
Survivors include friends, Ruby, Sam, Lois, Bill, Pat and Alice; several brothers and sisters; four children, Leslie (Johnson) Schommer and Tim Johnson of Portland, Jill Johnson of Grand Junction, Colo., and Kaylan (Patty) McKinney Vialpando of Twin Falls, Idaho; and 10 grandchildren, Sarah, Kyle, Jesse, Brandy, Elliot, Timothy, Leigh, Brooke, Cole and Skye.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Denver McKinney; and her mother, Leona "Lee" Chapman of Rock Springs.
Services are pending.

Memorial graveside services and inurnment for Arlene McKinney were at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2005, at the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens north of Rock Springs.
