Archie Ray Burnett
Ray Burnett, age 89, died September 28, 2009 at his daughters home in Berwick, Iowa. He was born the son of Clarence and Amanda (Paris) Burnette on November 20, 1919 in Lancaster, Missouri. Ray attended the Schyler County Schools.
On August 29, 1941 he was united in marriage to Madalin "Ruth" McCoy, and later divorced.
Ray is preceded in death by: his parents; sons, Lloyd and Douglas Burnett; daughter, Marilyn Satterfield.
He is survived by: daughter, Vivian and her husband, Daryl Poole of Berwick, Iowa; sons, Roger and his wife, Marlene Burnett of Hiawatha, Iowa, Earl and his wife, Toni Burnett of Apache Junction, Arizonia, C.W. and his wife, Karen Burnett of Kenny, Illinois; brother, Junior McKinney of Moulton, Iowa, twelve grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren.
Graveside Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 2, 2009 at 3 pm at the Camp Grounds Cemetery in Downing, Missouri with Rev. Doug Goodson officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2, 2009 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at the Scmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, Oct. 2 at 3 p.m. at Camp Grounds Cemetery in Downing, Mo.
A visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 2 prior to the burial from 12-2 p.m. with famiy present at Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville.
