  	She was the wife of William Henry "Billy" Hagood. They were also second cousins and they married on June 8, 1873. Her husband's mother was Elizabeth Garrison Hagood, daughter of Rev. Levi Garrison of Anderson, South Carolina.Rhoda's parents were Rev. Thomas Wesley Garrison and Malinda Forsyth Garrison. Her father was the founding pastor of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Cobb County, Georgia. Late in life, he deeded 4.5 acres of land for a church and school. She is buried there with her family. May she rest in peace.
