  	Madelia M. "Mickey" Johnson, 73, SERVICES: Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Virginia, with the Rev. Darin Elvemo officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Landmark Funeral Home Chapel in Virginia and for one hour before the service at the church. Pallbearers will be members of the Ladies Auxiliary to George and Mark Klobuchar Post 4456, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Gilbert. Burial will be in the Brimson Cemetery. Madelia M. "Mickey'' Johnson, 73, of Virginia, died Sunday, April 1, 2007, at St. Michael's Health and Rehabilitation Center in Virginia. She was born on Nov. 7, 1933, in Fairbanks, Minn., to Roy and Florence (Newton) McKinney Sr. and grew up there. She was a graduate of Two Harbors High School. Mickey married Howard J. Johnson, and they lived in Embarrass from 1954 until moving to Virginia in 1984. She worked in housekeeping at the Virginia Municipal Hospital. She was a member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Virginia and was a very active member of the Ladies Auxiliary to George and Mark Klobuchar VFW Post 4456 of Gilbert and also helped out at the Virginia Servicemen's Club. Survivors include one daughter, Delores (Roger) Week of Babbitt; one grandson, Brandon Week of Babbitt; two great-granddaughters, Samantha Week and Jacinda Kruizenga of New Richmond, Wis.; one brother, Harry (Ruth) McKinney of Brimson; one sister-in-law, Gerry McKinney of Brimson; one brother-in-law, Robert Johnson of St. Paul; and good friends, Peter Johnson of Virginia, Joanne Pelzer of Ely Lake, Eveleth, and Phyllis Nevala of Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard J. Johnson; five children, Roger, Jerold, Mary, Lorna and Howard Jr.; one grandson, Chad Week, in 2003; one brother, Roy McKinney Jr.; and one sister, Leota Johnson.
