  	Bernice Grunewald Bernice (Mrs. Dudley) Grunewald, 47, died suddenly in her home Thursday evening. She became seriously ill, and died before medical help could arrive. Funeral services were conducted Monday at the Assembly of God Church in Windom by Rev. Michael Maragia. Mrs. Michael Fisher was organist with Mrs. Michael Maragia soloist. Pallbearers were Allen Johnson, Orvis Sell, Ed, Grunewald, Jerry Chepa, Ronnie Schmidt and Richard Norby. Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery. Bernice Louise Horkey, daughter of Elmer and Hattie Kuehl Horkey was born in Southbrook Township Cottonwood County, Oct. 10, 1936. She grew up in the Westbrook area, attending country school there and graduating from Westbrook High School in 1956. She married Dudley Grunewald Nov. 3, 1957, at Windom. Following their marriage they lived in Dale Township, Kinbrae, Wilder, and Bingham Lake. She and her husband had eight children.. Pamela died in infancy and Norman in a train-truck collision at age of 20. She is survived by her husband, Dudley of Windom; four sons, Roger, James, and Curtis all of Bringham Lake, and Timothy of Windom; two daughters, Tammy and Patricia, both of Bingham Lake; her mother, Hattie Horkey of Windom; five brothers, Richard Horkey of Windom, Myron Horkey of Heron Lake, Russell Horkey, Maynard Horkey and Larry Horkey, all of Westbrook; and three sisters, Mrs. Robert (Lois) Huerkamp of Waseca, Mrs. Robert (JoAnn) Mead of Windom, and Joyce Voelker of Windom.
