Burg, Lester of Castro Valley on May 21, 1987; beloved husband of Evelyn Burg; devoted father of Dr. Norman Burg of Castro Valley and Dr. Samuel Burg of San Diego; deat brother of Harold Burg of Michigan and Eleanor Roth of New York; loving grandfather of two. A native of New York, aged 68 years. Mr. Burg was retired as Sales Manager for Zales Jewelers of Hayward after 48 years. He is also a veteran of World War II, U.S. Army and a member of Temple Beth Shalom of San Leandro.
Friends are invited to attend the services at the South Chapel of the Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, on Sunday May 24, at 2:00 p.m. Donations may be made to The Simo Wisenthal Holocaust Center of Temple Beth Shalom.
