- Mrs. Freda Mae Hoover
Mrs. Freda Mae Hoover, 74, 2606 W. 45th, Kansas City, Kansas, died Wednesday at Providence-St. Margaret Health Center. She was born in Roodhouse, Ill., and had lived in Kansas City area most of her life. Mrs. Hoover was a Baptist. She leaves three sons, J.C. Thompson, Grain Valley, Mo.; Robert V. Thompson, Grain Valley, Mo.; and Paul R. Hoover, Kansas City, Kansas; three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Thornburg, Mrs. Bessie Smith, and Mrs. Loretta Maxine Grossnicle, all of Kansas City, Kansas; two sisters, Mrs. Kate Smock and Mrs. N. Anthony; 24 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Gates Chapel; burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Chapel.
