Ima L. Farhner of Longmont died Monday, May 28, 2001, at Longmont United Hospital. She was 84.
She was born April 7, 1917, to John William and Iva Myrtle (Winn) McKinney in Memphis, Mo.
On April 11, 1939, she married Andrew Farhner in Denver.
Before her retirement, Mrs. Farhner was a dry cleaning presser at Model and New Method Cleaners for 25 years.
She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and fishing.
Mrs. Farhner was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew, on Feb. 26, 1987; tow brothers; and three sisters.
She is survived by three nephews, Randy Pennington Sr. and his wife Diane of Broomfield, Tom McKinney and his wife Marlo of Longmont and Tim McKinney and his wife Connie of Loveland; three nieces, Sherrie Labor and her husband Bob of Longmont, ReaDawn Inman and her husband Charlie of Longmont and Patty Shannon and her husband Chuck on Canon City; a brother, Roy McKinney and his wife Jean of Longmont; and several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, May 30, 2001, at Lewellen-Longmont Memorial Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 31, 2001, at Lewellen-Lonmont Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Bob Lewis of Church of Christ, Longmont, officiating.
Interment will take place at Foothills Gardens of Memory.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2130 Mountain View Ave., Suite A, Longmont, 80501.
