- Margaret Ann Breen
Margaret Ann Breen, 66, of Mesa, AZ, passed away December 18, 2002 in Phoenix. She was born September 2, 1936 in Missouri. She lived in Bettendorf, Iowa, until 1986, retiring to Phoenix. Margaret had received a heart transplant in 1993. Since that time she devoted enormous energy to helping others facing severe cardiac disease through the New Heart Society and volunteer work at various cardiac centers. In addition, she worked with the Organ Donor Network to educate others about the importance of organ donation. Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at St. Bridget Catholic Church, 2213 N. Lindsay Rd., Mesa. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Church. Margaret is survived by her daughters, Deb Maltby and Nancy Ruddy; sister, Betty Hamilton; brothers, Gene McMillen and Don McMillen; and grandchildren, Chad Natalie, Dara and Sean. Melcher's Chapel of the Roses handled the arrangements.
