Brooks, Rev. Donald Wesley, 68, died Saturday. Born in Collinsville, OK to Lawrence V. and Thelma Washburne Brooks. Fr. Brooks was State Coordinator for Catholic Prison Ministries. He was ordained as a Catholic Priest May 27, 1961. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by: 2 brothers: Robert Jack Brooks, Bakersfield, CA and James Lee Brooks, Ventura, CA; and an aunt, Edith Fruedenburg, Tulsa, OK. A vigil will be held at Holy Family Cathedral on Tuesday at 7 p.m. The Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday at 11 a.m., also at the Cathedral. Friends are invited to contribute to the Priests' Retirement Fund of the Diocese of Tulsa. The Fitzgerald Funeral Service, 585-1151.
