Asa Wilson
Asa Wilson, aged 68, retired farmer of Amherst, died suddenly this morning at a Madison hospital. He had been at the hospital the past four weeks. His wido, a granddaughter, Lena Berg, of Amherst, and Mr. Wilson's three daughters were called to Madison this morning.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

Funeral services for Asa James Wilson, lifelong resident of Amherst, who died Monday at the Wisconsin General hospital at Madison, will be held at 1:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Wilson home in Amherst. Rev. W. J. Corr will officiate and interment will take place in Greewood cemetery.
Mr. Wilson was born on August 30, 1864, at Amherst and had lived there since. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Wilson. His marriage to Elizabeth Padghan took place on April 19, 1891, and they became parents of three daughters and one son, all of whom survive. Mr. Wilson married Lena Powers on July 16, 1907, and one son was born, who died in infancy.
Surviving Mr. Wilson are his widow, his son and daughters, Mrs. Myron Harrington, Mrs. James Christenson, Mrs. Carl Schultz and James Wilson, one sister, Catherine Webster of Fond du Lac, and seven grandchildren.
