Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church for Edward J. Becker, 64, 106-28th Ave. N, who died Thursday at his home. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
Friends may call after 3 today at Williams Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be at 7 tonight at the funeral home.
Mr. Becker wa born March 14, 1917, in Lastrup to the late Adam and Frances (Bohach) becker. He married Cecelia Schnurrer May 1, 1939, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Pierz, and the couple farmed in the Lastrup area before moving to St. Cloud in 1949. He was employed as an inspector by Franklin Manufacturing until his retirement in 1963 and was a member of International Association fo Machinists Local 623.
Survivors include his wife; daughters and son, Mrs. Bev Dohrmann, Mrs. Duane (Bonnie) Lahr and Ronald, St. Cloud; sister, Lena, Pierz, and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brother and sisters, Peter, Marie Hansmann and Johanna Vosen.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Dohrmann, Robert Johnson, Leon Lempe, Reinhard Schnurrer, Ray Ebertowski and John Seelhammer.
