  	Daniel Van Hout Funeral services for Daniel J. Van Hout, 62, Andover, formerly of Ortonville, were held Wednesday, April 26, 2000 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Coon Rapids. Visitation was one hour prior to mass of Resurrection. Pallbearers were his nephews, Richard Hopkins, James Van Hout, Jeff Greenwood, Jessie Jensen, Gary Christensen, Wes Harris, and friend Dan Wendt. Dan was born Sept 2, 1937 to Richard and Laura (Steltz) Van Hout in Ortonville. He was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Catholic Church and received his education in Ortonville. He served in the Minnesota National Guards and three years in the U.S. Marines. On Nov. 22, 1958 he was united in marriage to Christal Christensen. He passed away at his home on Sunday, April 23, 2000. Survivors include his wife Christal, children, Dan Jr. (Christine), Darnell (William) Hildebrand and Dennis and special friend Jaime; grandchildren, Dann III, Cayla, Beckie, Billy and Bobby; brother Donald (Arvene) and relatives and friends. Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Laura, sisters Patricia Wollschlager, Lauraine Hopkins, and Betty Greenwood, Father-in-law Lyle Christensen, sisters-in-law, Nancy Christensen, Donna Norby.
