  The Hancock Clarion Friday, November 21, 1930 Columbus Bryant, age about 75, was severly bruised about the head and face when his buggy was struck by a truck of the D.A.T. Construction Company on U.S. Highway 60, about two miles west of Hawesville, Wednesday morning, November 19. Mr. Bryant was brought here, where he was treat by Drs. Griffin and Bush and removed to his home by the construction company. Mr. Bryant talked rambling after the accident and it may prove that his injuries are serious.
