Services were November 24 at Petra Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sauk Rapids, with Rev. William Leerssen officiating. Burial was in the Summit Cemetery in Morris. Mildred Marquardt was born May 4, 1908, in Hettinger, ND, to Christ and Emma (Weise) Riba. She married Walter Marquardt on February 25, 1933. They lived in Winona, Aitkin, Royalton and Little Falls. They owned and operated Interstate Beverage Company in Winona, where she was the office manager. She was a member of Petra Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sauk Rapids. Survivors include her son, Bruce of Royalton; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter in 1989; and brothers, Ray and Elmer Riba.
