Taylorsville, July 4 -
Homer Barnes, 63, of Genesee, died at Greenville Saturday following a lingering illness, He had been in the hospital two weeks. Funeral services were conducted here Tuesday. Mr. Barnes was a brother of Geo. Barnes, principal of the grammar school at Colusa. Mr. Barnes was a native of Pennington, Sutter county.

- Homer Barnes of Genesee Dies Here
Homer Barnes of Genesee died Sunday June 30, at the Travlers Hotel from heart trouble. Barnes, who was 62 years old had been ill for the past two years. He is survived by his widow, Rosena Joseph Barnes. Mr. and Mrs. Barnes had been residents of the Genesee Valley for the past 18 years.
Funeral services were held in Taylorsville Tuesday, July 2, in charge of J. F. Moody. Burial was made in the Taylorsville cemetery.
